Nashoba’s Key a Millionaire

ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2008) – Nashoba’s Key’s second-place finish in Saturday’s $500,000 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita pushed her over the million-dollar mark in career earnings.

The 5-year-old Silver Hawk mare, out of the Caerleon mare Nashoba, was bred by Williamson Racing, foaled at Harris Farms and is owned by Warren Williamson.

She has seven wins in nine starts and earnings of $1,072,090. She was running for the first time since finishing fourth in the Oct. 27 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf. Nashoba’s Key is the 47th Cal-bred millionaire and ninth distaffer to reach the plateau.
