Epic Power Ships for Turf HALLANDALE, Fla. (Jan. 20, 2008) – Epic Power is the leading money winner among the three California-breds entered in Saturday’s $500,000 Sunshine Millions Turf at Gulfstream Park. Epic Power is by Epic Honor, out of the Eighty Below Zero mare Petite n Powerful, was bred by Richard Meister and is owned by La Canada Stable. He has 12 wins in 53 starts, earnings of $650,847 and is coming off a third in a Dec. 26 optional claimer. Lucky J. H. is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the A.P. Indy mare Lucky C. H., was bred by and foaled at owner Harris Farms. He has six wins in 14 starts, earnings of $416,279 and is making his first start since finishing second in an Oct. 5 allowance. Add Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Be a Native mare Chemolo, was bred by Madeline Auerbach, was foaled at Old English Rancho and is owned by Auerbach, Abrams, Wilson, Wilson and Wilson.
