Sunshine Millions Noms Close Saturday

ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2008) – Regular nominations for the $3.6 million Sunshine Millions VI for California-breds and Florida-breds close Saturday, Jan. 12.

The fee for regular nominations is $1,000 per entry. Pre-entries will be taken Wednesday, Jan. 16. The post-position draw will be Sunday, Jan. 20 for the eight-race event that will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, at Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park.

Races to be run at Santa Anita are the $1 million Classic, $500,000 Filly & Mare Turf, $300,000 Filly & Mare Sprint, $250,000 Dash. Races to be run at Gulfstream Park are the $500,000 Turf, $500,000 Distaff, $300,000 Sprint and $250,000 Oaks.
