21 Regular Noms for Sunshine Millions

ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2007) – A total of 21 regular nominations for the $3.6 million Sunshine Millions V were received by Saturday’s deadline, according to officials from Magna, owners of the two tracks where the Jan. 27 event for California- and Florida-breds will take place.

The list includes one California-bred – Debonair Joe, who finished second in a $40,000 claiming turf spring Saturday. Regular nominations cost $1,000 per horse. Pre-entries will be taken Wednesday and the post-position draw will be Sunday.

At Santa Anita:
$500,000 Turf – Railroad, Touched by Madness
$500,000 Distaff – Preciousness
$300,000 Sprint – Changing Weather, Debonair Joe, Smokey Stover, Tacirring
$250,000 Oaks – Sekira

At Gulfstream Park:
$1 million Classic – Bob’s Proudest Moment, Gottcha Gold, Halo Steven, Silver Wagon.
$500,000 Filly & Mare Turf – Prop Me Up
$300,000 Filly & Mare Sprint – Double Delta, Getcozywithkaylee, Grecian Lover, Secret Scheme, Send Me An Angel
$250,000 Dash – Deadly Dealer, Felonious Monk, James Wilfred
