Sunshine Millions Draws 340 Early Birds

ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2004) – The $3.6 million Sunshine Millions, to be run Saturday, Jan. 29, has drawn 340 early-bird nominations. The eight-race series for horses bred in California and Florida will consist of four races run each at Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park.

Among the top California-breds nominated areYougottawanna and Cozy Guy in the $1 million Classic; A to the Z in the $500,000 Turf; Dream of Summer, House of Fortune, Royally Chosen and Yearly Report in the $500,000 Distaff; Moscow Burning in the $500,000 Filly & Mare Turf; Areyoutalkintome and Green Team in the $300,000 Sprint; and Bear Fan in the $300,000 Filly & Mare Sprint.

Regular nominations at $500 close Jan. 15, 2005. Horses must pre-enter Jan. 19, 2005 and the post-position draw is Jan. 24, 2005.
