Lil Sister Stich Runs for Biggest
Pot
HALLANDALE, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2003) –
Monrovia Handicap and California Cup Distaff winner Lil Sister Stich heads
a group of five California-breds entered in Saturday’s $350,000 Franks
Farm Filly & Mare Turf on the Sunshine Millions card at Gulfstream Park.
Lil Sister Stich is a 6-year-old
daughter of Seattle Bound, out of the Never Tabled mare Never Tarnished,
was bred by Gary and Marlene Howard. Once running for a $10,000 tag, she
has gone on to win four stakes. Overall, she has eight wins in 18 starts
with earnings of $329,835.
Elaine’s Angel was third in the Cal
Cup Matron and Cat’s Cradle. She is by T.U. Slew, out of the Ole mare Ole
Sis, was bred by Bartsch & Capehart & Dutton and foaled at Rancho del
Charro.
Serene in Seattle was second in the
Jan. 4 Pro or Con Handicap. She is by Boulder Dam, out of the Summer Time
Guy mare Lil Bit Tough, was bred by and foaled at Madera Thoroughbreds.
She has four wins in 12 starts.
Top of Our Game was seventh in the
Pro or Con Handicap. She is a multiple stakes winner by Steinlen, out of
the Imasmartee mare In True Form, was bred by and foaled at Harris Farms.
Florida’s Cellars Shiraz is the 3-1
morning-line favorite.
