NorCal Sale Set for Tuesday PLEASANTON, Calif. (Sept. 20, 2007) – Last year’s Northern California Yearling Sale has already produced 16 2-year-old winners, including multiple stakes winner Run Brother Ron. This year’s sale will be held Tuesday, September 25, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, beginning at 11 a.m. The 2007 catalog may be viewed online at www.ctba.com by clicking on Northern California Yearling Sale on the left side of the page under Sales. Next, click on NorCal Online catalog to view all related information or click here NorCal Online Catalog In addition to Run Brother Ron, the sale has produced Bai and Bai (sold for $3,200 in 2004 and now earner of $486,318), who is entered to run in Friday’s Las Madrinas Handicap at Fairplex Park. Another graduate of the sale is Leesider, winner of the $250,000 Snow Chief Stakes. The most recent stakes winner to come from the sale is Sierra Sunset, who captured last weekend’s Bay Meadows Juvenile.
There are 264 yearlings catalogued
in this year’s sale by stallions such as Benchmark, Bertrando, In Excess,
