$70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds
Stakes INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2008) - Sangay rallied in deep stretch to score a nose win over Sherry’s High in Sunday’s $70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park. Sangay is a 5-year-old by Stormin Fever, out of the Eastern Echo mare Moana Loa, was bred by owners Headly, Molasky and Molasky, was foaled at Old English Rancho, is trained by Bruce Headley and was ridden by Mike Smith.
