$60,000 NTRA Stakes INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2008) - Dancing in Silks, in only his second career start, exploded in the stretch and ran off to an easy win in Sunday’s $60,000 NTRA Stakes for California-bred maiden colts and geldings on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park. Dancing in Silks is a 3-year-old gelding by Black Minnaloushe, out of the Royal and Regal mare Lemhi Love, was bred by Ronald Jex, foaled at Rancho Corral de Quati, is owned by Ken Kinakin, trained by Carla Gaines and was ridden by Joel Rosario. He is a half-brother to graded stakes winner Gins Majesty. He was second in his only other start Apr. 6. He ran the 6 ˝ furlongs in 1:14.25, won by seven lengths and went off at odds of 3-1.
