$150,000 B. Thoughtful Stakes INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 27, 2008) - Spenditallbaby rallied through the stretch to set a stakes record with an upset win in Sunday’s $150,000 B. Thoughtful Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park. Spenditallbaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Dynaformer mare Andover the Money, was bred by Abrams/Roberts, Nakkashian, Johnson, et al and is owned by Fiorito, Johnson, Roberts, et al, was foaled at Old English Rancho, trained by Barry Abrams and ridden by Michael Baze. "Barry said just break, sit on the rail and when it comes time to running, take her out and go," said Baze. "And she did exactly that." She’s a full sister to stakes winner Runforthemoneybaby and the stakes-placed Andover the Cash. "Today she finally behaved herself, it was the first time she actually didn’t try to kill me,’ said Abrams. "She’s a good horse, but she’s just unlucky. If you watch the replay of the Del mar Oaks, she should have won. She should be a Grade I winner. This was a good workout for her and we’ll go from here." Spenditallbaby has five wins in 21 starts, earnings of $417,730 and was making her first start since finishing fifth in the Nov. 3 California Cup Distaff. She ran the seven furlongs in 1:21.04, a stakes record, and won by a length at odds of 12-1. Tiz Elemental was second and Chosen Royalty was third in the field of six.
