Tiz Elemental Seeks Another Gold
Rush Win
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2008) -
Tiz Elemental, winner of last year’s Melair Stakes, risks a four-race
win streak when seeking another Gold Rush stakes win in Sunday’s
$150,000 B. Thoughtful Stakes for fillies and mares at Hollywood Park.
Tiz Elemental is by Cee’s Tizzy,
out of the Great Commotion mare Blending Element, was bred by Williamson
Racing, was foaled at Harris Farms and is owned by Warren Williamson.
She has five wins in seven starts, earnings of $393,260 and she won last
year’s Melair Stakes on the Gold Rush card.
River Glow is by In Excess, out of
the A.P. Indy mare Lucky C. H., was bred by and foaled at owner Harris
Farms and trained by Carla Gaines. She has two wins in five starts,
earnings of $71,440 and is coming off a sixth-length win in a Mar. 31
allowance.
Mistical Plan is by Game Plan, out
of the Bel Bolide mare Mistical Bel, was bred by Carol Anderson, foaled
at Special T Thoroughbreds, owned by J.P. Reddam and trained by Doug
O’Neill. She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $506,850 and is
making her first start since finishing fifth in last May’s Kentucky
Oaks.
Silver Z is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of
the Dynaformer mare Zoelu, was bred by and foaled at Harris Farms, is
owned by CM Racing and Turf Express and trained by Brian Koriner. She
has three wins in seven starts, earnings of $140,500 and is making her
first start since an 8 1/2 –length allowance win last May 30. She won
the Warren’s Thoroughbreds on last year’s Gold Rush card.
Spenditallbaby is by Unusual Heat,
out of the Dynaformer mare Andover the Money, was bred by
Abrams/Roberts, Nakkashian, Johnson, et al and is owned by Fiorito,
Johnson, Roberts, et al and was foaled at Old English Rancho. She has
four wins in 20 starts, earnings of $327,730 and is making her first
start since fifth in the Nov. 3 California Cup Distaff.
Chosen Royalty is by In Excess, out
of the King of Kings mare Her Royalty, was bred by owners Old English
Rancho and Headley, was foaled at Old English Rancho and is trained by
Bruce Headley. She has two wins in seven starts, earnings of $114,116
and is coming off a second in a Mar. 23 allowance. She was third in the
Melair on last year’s Gold Rush card.
Sumthingtotalkabt is by Mutakddim,
out of the Falstaff mare Nannetta, was bred by Esprit de Corps Stable,
Millard and Rasmussen, was foaled at Special T Thoroughbreds and is
owned by Randall Lowe. The $28,000 Barretts purchase has three wins in
12 starts, earnings of $92,480 and is coming off a seventh in the Mar.
