$70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds
Stakes INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 29, 2007) – Silver Z turned back the challenge of Catherine’s Hope in midstretch and drew off to win Sunday’s $70,000 Warren’s Thoroughbreds Stakes for fillies and mares on Hollywood Park’s Gold Rush VIII card. Silver Z is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Dynaformer mare Zoelu, was bred by Harris Farms and is owned by CW Racing and Turf Express. She was trained by Brian Koriner, ridden by Joseph Talamo and she ran the seven furlongs in 1:24.63. She is a half-sister to stakes winner Now Victory and a full sister to C. T. Zee, who is entered to run in the Snow Chief Stakes later on the card. She has two wins in six starts and earnings of $100,720. Sunday Dress was third.
