INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 29, 2007) – Getback Time, who finished second to Somethinaboutlaura in last year’s California Cup Matron but was disqualified to seventh, was disqualified Sunday after finishing first in the $150,000 B. Thoughtful Stakes, moving second-place finisher Somethinaboutlaura into the winner’s circle.

Somethinaboutlaura is by Dance Floor, out of the It’s Freezing mare Crystals of Ice, was bred by Lilley Ranch and is owned by Miller, Sikura, Todaro, et al. She was trained by Jerry Hollendorfer and ridden by Victor Espinoza.

The stewards ruled that Getback Time interfered with Somethinaboutlaura as the horses straightened for home.

Somethinaboutlaura has 12 wins in 24 starts, earnings of $722,020 and was coming off a third in the Mar. 24 Hillsborough Handicap. She was second in this race last year.

She ran the seven furlongs in 1:23.06. Getback Time was placed second and Two Times Won finished third.
