INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 30, 2006) – Boocfuss, making his 11th career start, won Sunday’s $60,000 Pepper Oaks Farm Stakes for maiden colts and geldings on Gold Rush Day VII at Hollywood Park.

Boocfuss is a 5-year-old gelding by Bertrando, out of the Native Prospector mare Let’s Drink Brunch, was bred by Winning Ways Stable & Moonlight Racing Stable and is owned by Roger McCarty Revocable Trust and Elick.

He was trained by Jason Orman and ridden by Garret Gomez. Boocfuss ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:16.27 at odds of 9-1 and he won by a head over One Dixie, with Kat Kald Kalamazoo.
