INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 30, 2006) – She’s an Eleven, coming off an 11¼-length maiden win, pretty much duplicated it in winning Sunday’s $200,000 Melair Stakes for California-bred 3-year-old fillies on Gold Rush Day at Hollywood Park.

She’s an Eleven is by In Excess, out of the Flying Sensation mare She’s a Sensation, was bred by Old English Ranch & Joe Turner and is owned by C R K Stable. She was trained by John Sadler and ridden by Garrett Gomez.

This was her second victory in six starts and her earnings soared to $199,950. In her second career start as a maiden, she finished second in last December’s California Breeders’ Champion Stakes.

She’s an Eleven ran the 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.91 and won by 10 lengths. She has never finished out of the money. Bai and Bai finished second and Chosen Royalty was third.
