INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2005) – King of L. A. drew off to an eight-length victory in Sunday’s $60,000 Pepper Oaks Farm Stakes for maidens on the Gold Rush VI card at Hollywood Park
King of L. A. is by Raji, out of the Hansel mare Interaction, was bred by Southern Nevada Racing Stable and is owned by Steve Taub. He was trained by Kristin Mulhall and ridden by Martin Pedroza. This was his second career start after finishing sixth Mar. 19.
King of L. A. ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:15.36 at odds of 3-1. Perfect Mode was second and Maximum Heat was third.
