INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2005) – Soldier’s Kiss took the nightcap in Gold Rush VI, winning Sunday’s $60,000 NTRA Stakes for maiden fillies and mares at Hollywood Park.

Soldier’s Kiss is by One Man Army, out of the Corwyn Bay mare Butterfly Kisswas bred by Old English Rancho and Headley and is owned by Headley, Johnston and Johnston.

Soldier’s Kiss ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:15.28 and won by two lengths at odds of 7-1. She was trained by Bruce Headley and ridden by Gary Stevens. This was her third career start.
