Cee’s Irish Leads Deep Melair Lineup

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 21, 2005) – Sunland Oaks winner Cee’s Irish is the high weight in a field of 11 entered in Sunday’s $200,000 Melair Stakes for California-bred 3-year-old fillies on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park.

Cee’s Irish is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Bold Ruckus mare Zandalusia, was bred by C-Punch Ranch and is owned by The Merv Griffin Ranch. She is a three-time stakes winner, most recently taking the Apr. 2 Sunland Oaks. She has four wins in nine starts and earnings of $335,480.

Charming Colleen is by Charismatic, out of the Restless Con mare Restless Appeal, was bred by Robert and Beverly Lewis and is owned by James McIngvale. The $32,000 Barretts purchase has two wins, earnings of $117,113, is coming off a fourth in the Santa Anita Oaks and won the Angie Stakes at Emerald Downs.

Two Times Won is by Memo, out of the Saros mare Dad’s Penelope, was bred by Lewis Cenicola and is owned by Agosto and Cenicola. She has two wins, earnings of $84,154 and is coming off a win in an Apr. 10 optional claimer.
