INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2005) – Grade I winner Alphabet Kisses turned back the bid of favorite Dream of Summer and captured Sunday’s $150,000 B. Thoughtful Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares on the Gold Rush VI card at Hollywood Park.

Alphabet Kisses is by Alphabet Soup, out of the Saratoga Six mare Kiss for Six and was bred by owner Harris Farms. She has six wins (three of her last four races) in 11 starts and earnings of $456,909. She was coming off a fourth in the Sunshine Millions Distaff and won the Grade I La Brea.

Alphabet Kisses won by two lengths, was ridden by Gary Stevens, trained by Marty Jones and she ran the seven furlongs in 1:22.06. She won the Magali Farms maiden stakes on Gold Rush Day last year.

Thunder’s Echo finished second, Tucked Away was third and 7-5 favorite Dream of Summer was fourth.
