INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 24, 2005) – Trail Mix scored his second consecutive victory with a two-length win in Sunday’s $70,000 Barretts allowance stakes on the Gold Rush VI card at Hollywood Park.

Trail Mix is by Trail City, out of the Strawberry Road mare Strawberry’s Best, and was bred by owner Patricia Youngman, who stands Trail City at Pepper Oaks Farm. Trail Mix was coming off a seven-length maiden win in his sixth start.

He was trained by Mike Harrington, ridden by Victor Espinoza and he ran the seven furlongs in 1:22.35 at odds of 5-1.

K C Nite Mayr was second and Steel Cutlass was third.
