Deep Field for TVG Khaled

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 20, 2004) -- Millionaire Continental Red, Grade I winner Adminniestrator and California Cup Mile winner Lennyfromalibu head a deep field of California-breds entered in Saturday's $150,000 TVG Khaled Stakes at 1 1/8 miles on the turf, part of the Gold Rush V card at Hollywood Park.

Adminniestrator is by Incinderator, out of the Golden Eagle II mare Admiral Minnie II, was bred by Fred Sahadi and is owned by Pablo Suarez & Aaron Wellman. He has $752,821 in earnings, but is winless since the 2003 Sunshine Millions Turf. Nonetheless, he is the high weight at 124 pounds.

Aly Bubba is by Alymagic, out of the Skywalker mare Miss Sundial, was bred by Daehling Ranch and is owned by Daihling, Ives, Mark, et al. He has $176,977 in earnings and was third in the Mar. 14 Golden Gate Breeders' Cup Handicap.

Black Bart is by Stage Colony, out of the Pirate's Bounty mare Lyrical Pirate, was bred by Ed and Sharon Hudon and is owned by Thomas Metzger. He has six wins and $156,580 in earnings and won the Mar. 15 Blaze O'Brien Handicap. He has four wins in five starts since being claimed last December for $16,000.

Blairs General is by General Meeting, out of the Half a Year mare Crown of Jewels, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Dick Probert and Robert Cowley and is owned by David Lanzman Racing Stable. He has earnings of $135,829 and won a Mar. 9 allowance.

Bourbon County is by Smokester, out of the Turkoman mare Turkish Gipsy, was bred by Bobby Ng and Cardiff Farm Management and is owned by Damon Stathatos. He has $147,166 in earnings.

Millionaire Continental Red is by Flying Continental, out of the Glaros mare Sharp Looking Lady, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Wes Fitzpatrick and is owned by Sharon Fitzpatrick. An earner of $1,071,558, he is winless since the Quicken Tree Stakes last June.

Legal Logic is by Bertrando, out of the Pirate's Bounty mare Fleeting Image, was bred by owners Marty and Pam Wygod. She has one win in seven starts.

Lennyfromalibu is by Unusual Heat, out of the Half a Year mare Style of the Year, was bred by J. and M. Auerbach and is owned by Madeline Auerbach. He has earned $404,906 and has wins in the California Cup Mile and the Crystal Water Handicap.

Lily's Lad is by Bertrando, out of the Lyphard mare Pharapache, was bred by Marshall Naify and is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Moss. He has $262,207 in earnings, five wins, including a Feb. 25 $62,500 claimer. He was third in this race last year and fifth in 2002.
