Thoughtful Stakes for California-bred fillies and mares at seven furlongs on the Gold Rush card at Hollywood Park. Bear Fan is by Pine Bluff, out of the Shimatoree mare Shezalong, was bred by Wesley Ward and is owned by Ward and Peter Fan. She is coming off consecutive stakes wins in the Blaze O'Brien and the Grade II Barbara Fritchie Handicap. She has earnings of $406,125. Royally Chosen is by In Excess, out of the King of Kings mare Her Royalty, was bred by Old English Rancho and is owned by Abruzzo and Headley. She won the California Cup Matron, is Grade I placed and has $357,638 in earnings. Cyber Slew is by Siberian Summer, out of the Slew o' Gold mare Truly Golden, was bred by Kevin Carey and is owned by Rancho Ballena. She is a stakes-placed winner of $144,738 who was fifth in the Mar. 17 Irish O'Brien. Tucked Away is by Unusual Heat, out of the Be a Native mare Chemolo, was bred by Madeline Auerback and is owned by Nico Nierenberg. She won the Fleet Treat Stakes last July and hasn't won since.
