A HANDICAP FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD, BRED IN CALIFORNIA. By subscription of $100 each (Early Bird Nomination) if made on or before Friday, August 20, 1999, or $1,000 each (Regular Nomination) if made on or before Friday, October 15, 1999, fee to accompany the nomination. There will be no supplementary nominations. All horses shall pay $1,000 to pass the entry box and $2,000 additional to start, with $150,000 guaranteed to the winner, $50,000 to second, $30,000 to third, $15,000 to fourth and $5,000 to fifth. Weights Friday, October 22. High weights preferred, adjusted for scale and sex allowance. Starters to be named through the entry box by Wednesday, October 27, 1999. Trophies will be presented to the winning owner, breeder, trainer and jockey.
