RUNFORTHEMONEYBABY
ARCADIA, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2007) –
Even-money favorite Runforthemoneybaby swung outside, exploded turning for
home and cruised to a five-length win in Saturday’s $125,000 Robert H.
Walter California Cup Juvenile Fillies at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.
Runforthemoneybaby is by Unusual
Heat, out of the Dynaformer mare Andover the Money, making her a full
sister to stakes winner Spenditallbaby, who was entered to run in the Cal
Cup Distaff later in the day.
She was bred by Abrams, Johnson,
Nakkashian, Roberts, was foaled at Old English Rancho and is owned by
Michael Bello and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams. She was ridden by Tyler
Baze and trained by Jeff Mullins.
The Barretts graduate has two wins
in five starts, earnings of $160,144 and was coming off a third in the
Sept. 29 Grade I Oak Leaf Stakes.
Always in Style finished second and
Shes a Real Keeper was third. Runforthemoneybaby ran the 1 1/16 miles in
1:42.15.
