Cal Cup Noms Due Thursday

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2007) – Regular nominations for the $1.325 million California Cup XVIII are due Thursday, Oct. 25. Cal Cup will be held at Oak Tree at Santa Anita Saturday, Nov. 3.

The regular nomination fee for the $250,000 Cal Cup Classic presented by Smith Barney is $1,000. The regular nomination fee for all other Cal Cup stakes races is $500 each. The two starter handicap races have a regular nomination fee of $100 each.

There will be no supplemental nominations. Weights will be assigned Monday, Oct. 29, with entries taken Wednesday, Oct. 31.
