Starter Sprint Lures Seven
ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2006) –
Seven entered in Saturday’s $50,000 California Cup Starter Sprint Handicap
at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.
Wind Water is by Bold Badgett, out
of the French Deputy mare Feng Shui, was bred by S L U Inc. and is owned
by Koriner or Lyons or S L U. He has eight wins in 26 starts, earnings of
$323,525 and is coming off a win in a Sept. 30 $50,000 claimer.
Bradford is by Benton Creek, out of
the Roanoke mare Fountain Hills, was bred by Dennis Weir and is owned by
Robert Bayer. He has seven wins in 33 starts, earnings of $172,510 and is
coming off a second in a Sept. 20 starter’s allowance.
Indian Chant is by Suggest, out of
the Ice Age mare Icy Luck, was bred by Triple Crown Bloodstock and is
owned by Dare to Dream Stable. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of
$41,950 and is coming off a win in an Oct. 15 $32,000 claimer.
Evanston is by Benton Creek, out of
the Corporate Report mare Colby Lake, was bred by Dennis Weir and is owned
by Garcia, Navarro and Rubio. He has two wins in nine starts, earnings of
$68,349 and is coming off a second in an Oct. 4 allowance.
Mom is Ready is by Ready to Order,
out of the Moscow Ballet mare Scorpio Marjorie and was bred by owner
Robert Moreno. He has three wins in eight starts, earnings of $86,000 and
is coming off an Oct. 4 allowance win.
Commander Gary is by Larry the
Legend, out of the Native Prospector mare Borntobecourageous and was bred
by owner Mira Loma Thoroughbred Farm. He has two wins in 10 starts,
earnings of $46,200 and is coming off a fourth in an Oct. 4 allowance.
Yodeladytoo is by Swiss Yodeler,
out of the Star de Naskra mare Little Jet Setter, was bred by Dahlberg
Farms and is owned by Thomas Wafer. The $20,000 Barretts purchase is the
lone filly in the field and has six wins in 17 starts, earnings of
$237,192 and is coming off a sixth in the Sept. 25 Bangles and Beads.
