Prenuptial Heads Juvenile Fillies
ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2006) –
Prenuptial leads a field of 10 2-year-old fillies in Saturday’s $125,000
Robert H. Walter California Cup Juvenile Fillies at Oak Tree at Santa
Anita.
Katispsublue is by Comic Strip, out
of the Moscow Ballet mare A New Life, was bred by Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Probert and Robert Cowley and is owned by Mike Shustek. She won her debut
and was second in the Barretts Debutante and third in the Cover Gal, with
earnings of $63,653.
Tonja’s World is by Free House, out
of the His Majesty mare Gift to the World, was bred by the Gold and Green
Stable and Siemon and is owned by Halo Farms and Magerman. She has one win
in three starts and is coming off an eighth in the Oak Leaf Stakes.
Miss Melissa is by Larry the
Legend, out of the What a Spell mare Mellow Miss, was bred by Clifford
Sise and is owned by Sise and Morrison. She has two wins in four starts, a
second in the Bustles and Bows and earnings of $49,660.
Cathrine’s Hope is by In Excess,
out of the Far Out East mare Cookin Vicki and was bred by owners Cenicola,
Jett or Jett. She was third in her only start Oct. 9.
Prenuptial is by Broken Vow, out of
the End Sweep mare Global Finance, was bred by Dutton Racing and is owned
by David and Paula Mueller. She has two wins in five starts, earnings of
$92,440 and is coming off a sixth in the Cover Gal after winning the
Generous Portion.
Kiss the Cooke is by Kessem Power,
out of the Unreal Zeal mare Zealed With a Kiss, was bred by James Wilson
and is owned by Legacy Ranch. She has two wins and a second in the Oct. 8
Cover Gal, with earnings of $54,948.
Romance is Diane is by In Excess,
out of the Prized mare Romantic Fibs, was bred by Swan Equine and is owned
by Senji Nishimura. She won her second start Oct. 6.
Swiss Current is by Swiss Yodeler,
out of the Thunder Gulch mare Brilliant Thunder and was bred by owner
Tailwind Racing. She has one win in four starts and is coming off a fourth
in the Cover Gal.
Solid Brass Cat is by Editor’s
Note, out of the Dixieland Brass mare Get Back Loretta, was bred by owners
Madera Thoroughbreds and Jack Weinstein. She is a maiden making her fourth
start.
Excessive Tale is by Tale of the
Cat, out of the In Excess mare Excess’s Best and was bred by owners Dutton
and Awtrey. She is a maiden making her sixth start.
