ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2006) – Veteran stakes winner Somethinaboutlaura and improving Getback Time lead a field of seven entered in Saturday’s $150,000 CTT/TOC California Cup Matron at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.

Bit of Folly is by Olympio, out of the Leo Castelli mare Leo’s Lass, was bred by John Zamora and is owned by Esaul and Rachel Duran. The $7,000 Barretts purchase has three wins in 27 starts, earnings of $135,440 and is coming off a 10th in an Oct. 8 optional claimer.

Somethinaboutlaura is by Dance Floor, out of the It’s Freezing mare Crystals Of Ice, was bred by Lilley Ranch and is owned by Miller, Sikura, Todaro. She has eight wins in 17 starts, earnings of $410,985 and is coming off a win in the Sept. 23 Pacific Heights. She was fourth in this race last year.
