Sierra Sweetie Risks Streak in Juvenile Fillies

ARCADIA, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2005) – Sierra Sweetie seeks to run her stakes win streak to three in Sunday’s $125,000 Robert H. Walter California Cup Juvenile Fillies at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.

Sierra Sweetie is by Old Topper, out of the Kendor mare Memory of Margit, was bred by Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is owned by Braugh, Schmitt, Shields, et al. She has wins in the Generous Portion and Carmel Stakes and earnings of $126,550.

The stakes-placed Bai and Bai is by Falstaff, out of the Fappiano mare Bai Shun, was bred by Mares’ Nest and is owned by Vinson & Wilson. She has two wins in four starts and is coming off a second in the Oct. 9 Carmel Stakes.

Unbeaten Malley Girl is by Malek, out of the Desert Wine mare Sunday’s Child, was bred by Blooming Hills and is owned by Bayer or Carter or Smith et al. She was claimed for $40,000 out of her winning debut, then won the Oct. 10 Cover Gal and has earnings of $63,690.

Bless Idbyour Name is by Valid Wager, out of the Unbridled mare Fasahah and was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds. She won her second start and was second in the Cover Gal. Her earnings are $65,430.

All Eyes On You is by Lindsey’s Roberto, out of the Candi’s Gold mare Candi’s Princess, was bred by Clifford Sise and is owned by A & R Stables or Class Racing Stable. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $34,000 and is coming off a sixth in the Cover Gal.

Jolie Clure is by Clure, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Water Trade and was bred by owner Eagle Oak Ranch. She is a maiden making her fourth start.

Proud Cecy is by Proud Irish, out of the Irish Tower mare Dora’s Tower and was bred by owner Tricar Stable. She is a maiden making her ninth start.

Sarah’s Hart is by In Excess, out of the Siyah Kalem mare Scirocco and was bred by owner Michael Neumann. She has one win in three starts and is coming off a fourth in the Sept. 21 Black Swan.

Sorority Bid is by Bertrando, out of the Never Tabled mare Table Flower and was bred by owner Marty and Pam Wygod. She is a maiden making her third start.

Kalookan Lessie is by Deputy Commander, out of the Eighty Below Zero mare Courtroom Antics, was bred by owners Asistio and Romullo Stables. She has one win in four starts, earnings of $38,700 and is coming off a third in the Sept. 21 Black Swan.

Fun Logic is by Miesque’s Son, out of the Housebuster mare Fun Project and was bred by owners Currin and Eisman. She is coming off a maiden win in her sixth start.
