Dodge/Donald Valpredo $150,000 Cal Cup Sprint Preview

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2005) -- Unfurl the Flag (Bertrando-Escape the Storm, by Storm Cat) could be the standout in this field. He won the Grade I Pat O’Brien Handicap at Del Mar in August after taking the Tiznow Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Sunshine Millions Sprint runner-up Areyoutalkintome (Smokester-Andrea Gail, by Storm Bird) looms as another strong Cal Cup contender.

The field for the six-furlong race also could include McCann’s Mojave (Memo-Joni U Bar, by Nordic Prince) winner of Hollywood Park’s Ack Ack Handicap, and Shadow of Illinois (Illinois Storm-Annie T, by Trempolino), who won the Grade III San Simeon Handicap at Santa Anita.
