ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2004) – Unbeaten favorite Ata Olympio ran his win streak to four while taking Saturday’s $50,000 Willam T. Pascoe III California Cup Starter Sprint Handicap at Oak Tree at Santa Anita.

Ata Olympio is by Olympio, out of the Clever Trick mare Atay, was bred by Eugene Burnison and is owned by Circle B Ranch.

The 3-year-old gelding has four wins in as many starts and $83,200 in earnings. He was sent off the 6-5 favorite, ran the six furlongs in 1:09.48 and finished three lengths in front of Four Checker, with Mysterious Cat third. E.G. Burnison was the trainer and Garrett Gomez the jockey.
