Young Joe No Joke
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (May 7, 2008) -- Young Joe is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Shecky Greene Handicap at Arlington Park.
Young Joe is by Roar, out of the Boston Harbor mare Wet, was bred by John Crook, was foaled at Rancho San Miguel, is owned by Earl Trostrud, Mark Hoffman and Michael Reavis and is trained by Michael Reavis.
The $13,000 Barretts purchase has three wins in 10 starts, earnings of $77,701 and is coming off a win in a May 3 optional claimer.
