Sole of the City Wins Prairie Rose

ALTOONA, Iowa (May 4, 2008) - Sole of the City, a Kentucky-bred daughter of California stallion Salt Lake, won Sunday’s $50,000 Prairie Rose Handicap for fillies and mares at Prairie Meadows.

Sole of the City has 12 wins in 40 starts and earnings of $261,306. She ran the six furlongs in 1:09.51 and won by 3 ½ lengths as the 6-5 favorite.
