Indian Ashton Solid in Turf Sprint

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Apr. 29, 2008) - California-bred Indian Ashton is the 5-2 second choice on the morning-line for Friday’s $100,000 Grade III Aegon Turf Sprint Stakes at five furlongs on the Churchill Downs turf course.

Indian Ashton is by Tribal Rule, out of the Bertrando mare Justanotherblonde, was bred by Marty and Pam Wygod, was foaled at River Edge Farm, is owned by O’Laughlin, Sharma and Ward and trained by Wesley Ward.

The $105,000 Barretts purchase has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $178,260 and is coming off a second in the California Turf Sprint Championship.
