Golden Doc A Draws Rail for Oaks
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Apr. 29, 2008) -
Grade I winner Golden Doc A is by lone California-bred entered in
Friday’s $500,000 Grade I Kentucky Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at
Churchill Downs.
She is by Unusual Heat, out of the
Crested Wave mare Penpont, was bred by David Abrams, foaled at Old
English Rancho, is owned by Ron McCauley and trained by Barry Abrams.
She drew the rail.
The Barretts graduate has three
wins in 12 starts, earnings of $455,356 and is coming off a second in
the Grade II Beaumont April 10.
