Excessive Heat Takes on the Boys

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Apr. 28, 2008) - Excessive Heat is the lone California-bred and lone filly entered in Friday’s $50,000 Tony Gatto Dream Big Stakes at five furlongs on the Atlantic City turf course.

Excessive Heat is by Bring the Heat, out of the Lit de Justice mare Newport Nikki, was bred by Wesley Ward, was foaled at Abbot Ranch, is owned by Richard Ravin and trainer Larry Rivelli.

She has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $149,800 and is coming off a third in the Feb. 2 Black Gold.
