Expressionist Gets First Winner
ARCADIA, Ca. (Apr. 17, 2008) -- California stallion Expressionist was represented by his first winner on
Thursday when Gonging Wild won the first race at Santa Anita, a
two-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies.
Gonging Wild is out of the Truckee
mare Bangthegong, was bred by Monty Ormsby, is owned by Galley Farm and
trained by Adam Kitchingman.
She ran the distance in :20.87 and
won by 1 ¾ lengths at odds of 5-1.
Expressionist, a son of Wild Again,
was a stakes winner of $457,810.
