Semaphore Man Takes Count Fleet

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (Apr. 10, 2008) – Semaphore Man, a Kentucky-bred son of California stallion Formal Gold, won Thursday’s $150,000 Grade III Count Fleet Sprint Handicap at Oaklawn Park.

Semaphore Man has seven wins in 21 starts and earnings of $397,110. He ran the six furlongs in 1:09.78 on a wet fast track and won by 1 ¼ lengths at odds of 8-5. He was second in this race a year ago.
