Lightmyfirebaby Awarded Stakes Win ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 13, 2008) - Second-place finisher Lightmyfirebaby, interfered with crossing over the main track, was awarded the win in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Las Cienegas Handicap for fillies and mares when Bahama Mama, first across the line, was disqualified and placed fourth. Lightmyfirebaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Valid Appeal mare True Melody, was bred by Abrams, Johnson, Nakkashian and Wick, was foaled at Old English Rancho and is owned by Richard O’Neill Trust. She has five wins in 17 starts, earnings of $203,546 and was coming off a second in the Apr. 6 Valentine Dancer after winning the Irish O’Brien at the same about 6 ½ furlong hillside turf course.
