Cal-bred Pair Enter Las Cienegas

ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 10, 2008) – California-breds Lightmyfirebaby and Justice is Brief are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Las Cienegas Handicap for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Lightmyfirebaby is by Unusual Heat, out of the Valid Appeal mare True Melody, was bred by Abrams, Johnson, Nakkashian and Wick, was foaled at Old English Rancho and is owned by Richard O’Neill Trust. She has four wins in 16 starts, earnings of $225,926 and is coming off a second in the Apr. 6 Valentine Dancer.

Justice is Brief is by Lit de Justice, out of the Slewpy mare Brefny, was bred by Magali Ventures, was foaled at Magali Farms and is owned by CNG Racing, Magali Ventures, Owners Stables and Victor Racing. She has one win in 17 starts, earnings of $82,201 and is coming off a fourth in a Mar. 30 starter’s allowance.
