Golden Doc A Ships to Keeneland
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Apr. 6, 2008) –
Grade I winner Golden Doc A is the lone California-bred entered and the
co-high weight in Thursday’s $250,000 Grade II Stonerside Beaumont
Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Keeneland.
Golden Doc A is the first Grade I
winner sired by Unusual Heat. She is out of the Crested Wave mare
Penpont, was bred by David Abrams, foaled at Old English Rancho and was
recently purchased by Ron McCauley.
The Barretts graduate has three
wins in 11 starts, earnings of $405,356 and is coming off a second in
the Santa Anita Oaks.
