Cal-bred Pair in Las Flores
ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 3, 2008) –
High weight stakes winner Tiz Elemental and fellow California-bred
Overly Tempting are entered in Sunday’s $150,000 Grade III Las Flores
Handicap for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Tiz Elemental is by Cee’s Tizzy,
out of the Great Commotion mare Blending Element, was bred by Williamson
Racing, was foaled at Harris Farms and is owned by Warren Williamson.
She has four wins in six starts, earnings of $303,260 and is coming off
three consecutive wins, the most recent the Feb. 24 Honest Lady.
Overly Tempting is by In Excess,
out of the Something Lucky mare Contemptible, was bred by and foaled at
Old English Rancho and is owned by E.W. and Judy Johnston and Marsha
Naify. She has three wins in seven starts, earnings of $140,860 and is
coming off a seventh in the Feb. 24 Honest Lady.
