Rice ’n Spice in Houston

HOUSTON, Tex. (Apr. 3, 2008) – Rice ’n Spice is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Jersey Lilly Handicap for fillies and mares at Sam Houston Park.

Rice ’n Spice is by Cherokee Colony, out of the Seattle Song mare Sugar ’n Oats, was bred by Hertel Farms and is owned by Mindy Willis.

She has four wins in 12 starts, earnings of $51,640 and is coming off a two consecutive wins.
