Sir Stephen Runs for Daylight
SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Apr. 2, 2008) – Sir Stephen is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Daylight Sprint Thoroughbred Stakes for 3-year-olds at Sunland Park.
Sir Stephen is by Benchmark, out of the Bertrando mare Smooth Customer, was bred by Marty and Pam Wygod, was foaled at River Edge Farm and is owned by Brad and Kim Bingham and Don Hicks Estate.
The $6,000 Barretts purchase has one win in five starts, earnings of $19,670 and is coming off a fifth in a Mar. 16 allowance.
