LODI, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2007) -- Tough Game, an earner of over $300,000, has been retired from racing for stallion duty at West 12 Ranch. The 8-year-old son of Mr. Greeley will stand for a fee of $1,500.

A $270,000 Fasig Tipton July yearling, Tough Game raced from the ages of 3 to 8. He equaled the Hollywood Park track record of 1: 07.52 for six furlongs as a 4-year-old, and retired with 10 wins and 9 placings from 27 races.

Out of the stakes winning mare Explosive Scarlet, Tough Game is a half-brother to two stakes horses, the Cicero Handicap winner Sweet Baby James and stakes-placed R. Little Redhead.
