Strike Gold Dead at 25
SAN JACINTO, Calif. (Oct. 10, 2005)
-- Strike Gold, whose progeny from 19 crops earned more than $16 million,
died recently of the infirmities of old age. He was 25.
The graded-stakes winning son of
Mr. Prospector sired 19 stakes winners, topped by multiple graded winner
Traces of Gold and graded winners Popol’s Gold and Arches of Gold.
