Del Mar Inspections Scheduled
ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 28, 2003) -- CTBA Sales received nearly 500 entries for the 2003 Del Mar Yearling Sale. More than 400 of the yearlings nominated will be inspected for conformation during April and the first part of May. All farms were contacted this week to schedule appointments for inspections. Please find the inspection schedules listed below:
The inspections have been moved back two weeks from previous years to better accommodate California breeders. Inspections for California cities not mentioned will be conducted in mid-April to the first part of May. Also, out-of-state inspections will be conducted mid to late April and the first part of May.
The inspections will start start in
Northern California Apr. 14. Farms in the following cities have been
contacted: Oakdale, Manteca, French Camp, Lodi, Clements, Galt, Herald,
Wilton and Elk Grove.
Inspections Tuesday, Apr. 15 will continue in the cities of Auburn, Grass
Valley, Bangor, Butte, Vacaville, Napa and Petaluma.
The second leg of inspections in Southern California starts Monday, Apr. 21. Farms in the
following cities have been contacted: Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, Ramona, Santa Ysabel, Valley Center and Bonsall.
Inspections continue Tuesday, Apr. 22 in Fallbrook, Temecula and Murrieta.
Inspections in that area conclude Wednesday, Apr. 23 in Romoland, Nuevo, Hemet, Lakeview, Riverside and Mira Loma.
The last leg of yearling inspections in Central California starts Monday, Apr. 28. Farms in the following cities have been contacted: Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Buellton and Lompoc.
On Tuesday, April 29, those inspections continue in the following cities: San Miguel, Atascadero and Paso Robles and ending in Coalinga.
On Wednesday, Apr. 30, the inspections end with the following cities: Tulare, Sanger, Chowchilla, Fresno and Bakersfield.
