INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Apr. 28, 2002) -- Theresa's Year, making only her second career start, turned back all challengers to post an easy win Sunday in the $70,000 Lakeview Thoroughbreds Farm Stakes at Gold Rush III at Hollywood Park. The 3-year-old daughter of Half a Year, out of the Greenwood Star mare Theresa's Pleasure, was bred by owners Haagsma, Haagsma and Tillema. She won her Mar. 23 debut impressively by 1 1/2 lengths. Free Shot finished second Sunday and Geana Dawn was third. There was a stewards inquiry after the race, but there was no change in the original order of finish.
