TV Deal in Works for Sunshine Millions

ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2002) -- Magna Entertainment is in negotiations with NBC to televise a portion of the inaugural $3.6 million Sunshine Millions, an eight-race series to be held Jan. 25, 2003, with four races each at Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park.

The program would be one hour in length and include two or three live races and replays of earlier races. One of the live races is expected to be the $1 million Sunshine Millions Classic, to be run at Gulfstream Park.
