Beau Genius, Dance Floor Sons Win in Hong Kong
HONG KONG (Dec. 30, 2001) - Sons of California stallions Beau Genius and Dance Floor won handicap races on the same card last week at Sha Tin Race Course.
Watch Me Win, a 4-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Beau Genius, won the $75,000 (US$) Johnston Handicap at seven furlongs. Bred by Louisa Lenehan out of the Lemhi Gold mare Crowchild, Watch Me Win was a $31,000 yearling purchase at Kenneland.
Full Throttle, a 7-year-old New Zealand-bred son of Dance Floor, out of the Fabulous Dancer mare Zangla, won the $95,000 (US$) Jaffe Handicap at 1¼ miles.
